This blog is something I have wanted to do for a long time. It began with the lofty goal of writing a book (which is utterly hilarious because I will literally hand the instructions of a game to my husband and say, “read it and tell me what it says”). Then, my amazing sister suggested I start a blog.
I don’t know if I’m a “bloggy person” I told her.
Then she started a blog happy healthy alive and totally inspired me, like she always does!
So here we are . . .
A million years ago I served a mission on Temple Square in Salt Lake City. One of the many things I loved about that unique experience was that the people came to me. So many missionaries spend several hours a day searching for friends to serve and teach – but in my mission they walked right up to my front door so to speak.
I feel like this blog will provide a similar opportunity. I have so many thoughts and ideas that I want to share . . . and if you want to hear them – you have to come to me (aka visit my blog). It’s not that I am afraid to put myself out there – it’s just that I haven’t even finished folding the laundry from three days ago or put away all of yesterdays groceries, and please don’t ask me when the last time I showered was . . . so reading arguments from perfect strangers on Facebook and other social media just really isn’t high on my priority list. If you are here, you are a friend.
So . . . I am excited to begin this chapter with you. I really am not a “bloggy person” and I will be honest – just setting up this page and choosing a picture has pretty much taken me all day! . . . lol. I’m hoping it gets a little easier as I go.
Please feel free to comment and share and add thoughts of your own, but please keep it positive.
Let my blogging adventure begin…
